Winners of the National Farmhouse Cheese Competition Listowel, 2005

The National Farmhouse Cheese Competition was held for the third year as part of the '05 Listowel Food Fair, the only Farmhouse cheese competition in Ireland, this event is held in conjunction with CAIS.
This year the farmhouse cheese–makers from around the country entered twenty-four cheeses for competition. Judges Barra McFeely from Super Quinn and Annie McEvoy cheese expert for Matthews Cheese Cellar said that the standard of entries were superb.
