Salone del Gusto 2006
The Irish Raw Milk Cheese Presidia took a stand in Salone del Gusto in Turin in October 2006 during Terra Madre.
Seven Irish cheeses were represented there, Cooleeney, Mt. Callan, Durrus, Bellingham Blue,Drumlin, St. Gall and Dilliskus.
The stand was busy and generated lots of interest in these and other Irish Cheeses, many of which were well known to people.
It was a great experience to be out in Italy at such a busy show, long days from 10 til 10 for 5 days!
We mainly sold tasting plates of the Raw selection, some bought sections too, in fact by the final morning all was sold.
