World Cheese Awards 2009 Results
Congratulations to Cashel Blue, Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese and Knockanore Farmhouse Cheese on their success at World Cheese Awards 2009 in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria on the 30th September 2009.
The Awards, Congress and Festival were a tremendous success with over 15,000 people visiting the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium over the three days.
Cashel Blue received Best Irish Cheese, while Knockanore Farmhouse Cheese received a Gold medal for their Oakwood Smoked Cheese.
Milleens won a silver in the Washed rind category of the World Cheese Awards.
Wicklow Farmhouse Cheese received a Bronze medal for their Wicklow Blue.
